…for Adele. I have loved her since the first time I heard a note come from her and waited for 19 to come out. I played the heck out of it and it bothered me whenever someone did not know of her. I’d tell them all, “Just buy it. You’ll thank me later.” Of course, I anxiously waited for 21 and I’ve been playing the heck out of it too.
When tickets went on sale for her Nashville show, I didn’t purchase them because I was supposed to be on the road. Plus, I wasn’t sure who would want to come with me. Turns out, it appears I told too many people how awesome she is and now there are no tickets available. She’s now rescheduled for October 10 and I desperately want to go. So, I wish nothing but the best for myself.
For now, until I find someone who needs a plus one or has one available, I’ll just keep playing this video of Adele from Sunday’s VMAs.
She inspires me to sing again. It’s been a long time.
