I’m tardy posting this, but it’s better late than never. The Mister and I went on a vacation the weekend before Christmas, December 15th through 19th. This marks off number 16. We planned our flee/journal/escape in June. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn off of West 35th. You should go there. They were super nice. (Bonus points that cannot be turned in for anything go to Ryan and Tammy.) Seriously, I travel pretty frequently and they were the some of the best customer service I’ve seen in any hotel.

There is no way I can share all the photos in one post. So, you’re gonna get a series. We had a great, super, marvelous time. We need another vacation.

First, we rode with Vicky Yates. She dresses looks different when she’s not scaring old folks in news reports in “real life.”

We ate some awesome food.

Don’t mess with The Mister’s sammich.

Ignore the abundance of pepper flakes. The top fell off the shaker.

Our favorite pizza place is Saluggi’s. That’s where we are in the photo above. We found it randomly during our honeymoon and we ate there three times our last trip. Go there. You’ll owe us later.

We rode the subway a lot.

I promise I didn’t use the restroom.

I just sent the photo to my mother to freak her out.

Overall, we have only three photos of The Mister and I together. None of them are good. They are all from bad angles and taken by us. However, here is one of them.

We were lucky with the weather as it wasn’t snowy and super cold. However, it still put us in the holiday spirit. We’re now talking about going away for holidays more.

Posts on window displays and purchases to follow.

I don’t have a lot of free time, but sometimes I spend my free time watching television. I have The Mister DVR many shows for me, but I don’t usually watch them. However, The Mister and I do watch Top Chef. I’m not sure why I like it. I cannot cook, so maybe I subconsciously think I’ll learn something. That’s doubtful.  Maybe it’s because I have a mini-crush on Fabio.

Currently, Top Chef All Stars is showing and we’ve been all over it. The finale is tonight. (Fabio will make an appearace!)

In past episodes I noticed that the contestants lived in One Brooklyn Bridge Park. I googled it.

Check out their adorable site here

Of course, I got sucked in and viewed their gallery. Blame it on the site or The Mister and I’s undying desire to move to New York but I got sucked in. Seriously, our intense migration pull it’s almost problematic.

They have a yoga studio, children’s art room, children’s playroom and a screening room among other rooms within their amenities. Do I need any of these? No. Well, I’m sure I could benefit from yoga but I don’t do it. What I choose to do is snag photos of decor. So, here are some photos I snagged of their condo interiors and exteriors.

Children’s room

The anti Simon Cowell lives here with his closet full of white t-shirts.

I almost threw up over the view. Then, I looked at the park photos and they looked a bit off.

Then, I saw the photo below and it freaked me out.

Creepy Photoshop

Fabio says he loves me.
