You know of my love for the Bond Console by Jonathan Adler.

It’s my dream lover. Now, we’ll say in honor of Skyfall even though I had to Google “new Bond movie”, I have rekindled my love for it. Then, I found this dresser on Craigslist.

It’s not the same, obviously. However, it’s 1/3 the price. It’s tempting. But, it’s not as tempting as sharing this with you.

You’re welcome!

I need someone (maybe you) to pull me a solid.

I almost puked when I opened my email. Lucky bastards New Yorkers.

I cannot go to this sale, but need someone to go for me. I’m looking for some pieces. Fo’ realz. This is not a test of the emergency system! If you are going or know of someone that may be going and they want to help a girl out. Message me. I need the Bond Console (proof of my long time love affair) on sale. I need it to be on sale – hence why I’m begging coming to you.

Last week, I learned my lesson about trying a new way to schedule posts. Thursday’s post was supposed to be for today- hence the opening sentence of “Welcome to a new week and a new series, Single Guy. “ Oh well…let’s move on. You get twoe

Nordstroms opened in Green Hills this past Friday. It is the first Nordstroms in Tennessee and many are excited about its arrival. I will not, nor did I, attend any of their opening events, but I do look foward to visiting it soon. Here are some items I have my eye on:

Calvin Klein cape

Tahari “Belle” Capelet

Vince Camuto Button Neck Cape

The cape obsession continues. Here is the  one I adore but it’s out of my price range:

Diane von Furstenberg Hooded Cotton Cape

Kate Spade New York Rigid iPhone cover

Jonathan Adler “Boy/Girl” Reversible Vase

Kate Spade New York “Crown Point” double invitation frame

Though Nordstroms is great, I hope it doesn’t terribly affect the area boutiques. If you get a cape, no matter where from, I need to see you in it.

Last week, while in Chicago, I stopped by Jonathan Adler’s store on the way back to my hotel. It was my last night in Chicago, which is probably good as I asked the salesman (from Louisville, KY by the way) to hold all my bags so I could touch things. They were having an upholstery floor sale. The sale called for 30-40% off of some couches.

However, the highlight of my entire trip, was seeing the Bond collection. I audidly ”OOoooo-ed” when I saw the Bond Desk. Then, I turned the corner and practically ran to the Bond Console. Burl wood and lucite? Jonathan…Jonathan… I opened all drawers and doors. Rubbed my hands all over it. Pretended the store was my home.
