As you know, I have a famous pillow. I got it in though I’m supposed to be on a pillow sabbatical. However, it is not the only pillow I’ve recently acquired. Please welcome this beauty.

She was on clearance from West Elm. I had an insert that I wasn’t using. It was actually in the way. So, duh. It happened. The pillow cover came home and it doesn’t break the rules because I reduced, reused and recycled that insert. Here she is among her pillow party friends on the couch.

The Pig loves having new friends.

Sometimes I think of making a bunch of pug pillows just for him.

Awhile back I shared Before and After: Our Sideroom. I got rid of the weaved pillows from the past. They’re living another life at Goodwill. I had to make some sacrifices.  So, we went from this:

I moved my William-Sonoma covered pillows (seen here in the past) to the sideoom, laid a sheepskin rug I found at TJMaxx across the back and moved the lamp to the other side. Then, instead of the pillows being on an angle I stacked them.

We haven’t painted yet, you can see the same old swatches on the wall, but we are this weekend. We’re painting this weekend because our new carpet is being installed next Friday. Whoop whoop! Big things are happening my lovelies! Tomorrow, you will see our foyer/landing. I need to document it. Plus, I have to show off our current, awful carpet. We’ll see if everything stays the same after the installation.

The Mister and I rushed around yesterday to get a few forgotten Christmas things. We returned home and found this.

It appears the holidays are getting to him too. We’re all going a little crazy.

I cannot say I’m much in the holiday mood. I’d rather lounge around the house and work on some projects than join the hustle and bustle. So, when I walked into the living room and saw the spectacle above I just stared. I was in shock that he acted out and I almost understood.  The holidays can be worrisome and wearing for anyone. I hope you all enjoy the season and you don’t result to licking the couch and climbing to the top of it.
