Like many, I was saddened to hear of the death of Steve Jobs. It’s a terrible loss, especially knowing that his life was cut short as he was only 56. Jobs was a visionary, an incredible innovator and changed the way our world communicates. Personally, I admired him for many reasons but it was his presentation skills that originally gained my interest.
Though there are many reactions to his death I think President Obama’s written statement is the closest to how I feel, “Steve was among the greatest of American innovators – brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.” Reading that tugs at my heart. It almost brings tears to my eyes. That is what I want to be – brave, bold and talented. I sum that into being “lovely.” We should all get a Jobs.
