We have a small “landing” by our side door. “Landing” is being generous, it’s really a large step. Due to its size, and our need for organization, I find myself sitting on said step and staring at the walls and banisters around me. I’m aware that this sounds as if I need help and I do. I need help figuring out what to purchase and what will work.
First thing needed: A place for coats and bags. That’s right bags – the word bag but plural. I am guilty of having my own collection. However, The Mister has his school bag.
I ruled out hooks in the wall – as we lack in wall space. Therefore, I feel that a coat rack may be the best option. I am not interested in the curly, ornate, old coat rack. I’m hoping for something more streamlined. As streamlined as a coat rack can get.

I purchaed the frame from Michaels and spray painted it navy. The matting is scrapes of fabric that came from some tablecloths I purchased at Ross. The coatrack came from Hobby Lobby and I purchased it when it was half off. I belive it was $10.00. It was my answer to this concern. [...]
