Secondly, I’m glad your favorite color transitioned from yellow to orange. Yellow makes people uncomfortable. So, if you have a guest room, don’t paint it yellow. If you have a child with a terminal illness and feel like you should paint her room yellow to cheer her up. You’re wrong.

Lastly, I, too wanted to be obsessed with the sunflower. When moving to the bedroom I would have for middle and high school I chose sunflowers for the decor. Mother quickly told me it wasn’t allowed. In fact, I could either go Waverly (the only linen I had ever had in my bedroom since retiring my Beatrix Potter nursery suit) or “Princess” by Croscill. I went with Croscill. If I see it now I was to vomit rainbows that giggle.

If you don’t mind asking your mother, I’d love to have her opinion. I did not know your mother was a master seamstress but that does not surprise me in the least. I am not at all near the mediocre status on the seamstress scale.
